About Our Founder
Founder
For years, Aquanetta Betts, J.D., AEP®, CAP®, CFRE, worked as an attorney and helped clients plan their estates. In addition, as a charitable giving advisor, she has assisted non-profit supporters create gift plans that support causes they are passionate about.
As The Estate and Philanthropy Coach™ she helps individuals overcome barriers to estate planning and reach their estate and charitable planning goals. She also works with organizations to provide them with strategies to engage, retain and grow their client base and inspire supporters to make an impact through their philanthropic giving.
A daughter of the south – Aquanetta loves muscadines, peach cobbler, and eating fish and grits for breakfast. She celebrates the vibrant heritage of the Gullah Geechee, and their communities along the southeastern coast of the United States. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®.

- Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services
- Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP ®) designation from The National Association of Estate Planners and Councils
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification
Community Involvement
Aquanetta enjoys participating in community outreach events, especially during National Estate Planning Awareness Week.
Aquanetta is a legacy and estate planning advocate who is passionate about sharing information with communities that are underrecognized. She regularly shares information on the importance of having a plan as part of an individual's financial well-being, and as a way to build generational wealth.
Aquanetta serves in leadership positions and boards of local and national organizations.
